Vote4Mail is the world's FIRST democratic EMail checker/filter program. It sits quietly in your Windows system tray, next to your clock, and checks your email accounts for new messages. When new messages arrive, Vote4Mail notifies you with a blinking mailbox.

Voting Against Junk Mail

But that's not all! How would you like to participate in the world's largest democracy?! That's what you're doing when you use Vote4Mail! You can vote for or against any email you receive and your vote will be registered with the Vote4Mail server. When other people receive the same email, your vote allows them to decide if the mail is junk or worth their time to read.

Voting is a simple process of clicking on the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icon beside the email header. Vote4Mail allows you to preview the contents of the message, and if it's junk, you just click thumbs-down. When you're done previewing your email, you can close Vote4mail or open your email program. Either way, the junk you flagged thumbs-down will be deleted from your email account and your vote against the message will be registered with the Vote4Mail server. Your email program will never receive messages that you flagged as junk!

When you receive new messages, you're able to see how many people voted for or against a given message. You can set a filter to automatically delete messages other people have voted as junk! But, you can also vote FOR the message if you think its content has value. This is true democracy!

Total Privacy

Vote4Mail ensures total privacy. No one knows anything about the email messages you are receiving! Vote4mail assigns a unique number for each email message you receive; it's impossible to discover what the message was about by looking at the number. The unique number contains no information about the message other than its unique "thumb print".

Avoid Viruses and other Junk!

Vote4Mail is a great way to avoid viruses! No matter what email program you use, Vote4mail allows you to view the contents of the email message, BEFORE it gets to your email program! If the message is a virus, or from someone you don't know or trust, or contains information you don't want, just vote against it! Other people will get the benefit of your vote, and you get the benefit of their vote! If it's a virus, it's stopped dead in its tracks and, better yet, is marked as junk by other people before it gets to you!
